UNIFIED VII: Praise Festival

BY: JOSH JYREH GARAN

On May 3, 2025, CCOWEF Young Professionals Philippines took part in the Unified VII Praise Festival: Filled to Overflow, held at The Living Christian Church Cebu. The event gathered 82 participants from various churches across Cebu for an evening of worship, fellowship, and spiritual renewal. The program featured heartfelt praise and worship led by the TLCC Band, creating an atmosphere of joyful celebration and unity. Rev. Alvin Rival delivered an inspiring message centered on being “filled to overflow,” encouraging everyone to live Spirit-filled lives that reflect Christ in their workplaces, communities, and personal journeys.

One of the most meaningful highlights of the festival was the fellowship among different Cebu churches. It was a beautiful reminder of the body of Christ united in one purpose—to glorify God and proclaim His goodness. Participants were given the opportunity to connect, build new relationships, and strengthen bonds within the Christian community. The Gospel was faithfully shared during the event, offering attendees both encouragement and a deeper understanding of God’s love. The Praise Festival concluded with renewed hearts, strengthened faith, and a shared commitment to continue living lives that overflow with God’s grace. It was truly a joyful celebration of unity and worship.

OCTOBER 7-10, 2025

28th CCOWEF Young Professionals Conference

BY: JOSH JYREH GARAN

From October 7–10, 2025, CCOWEF Young Professionals Philippines held its Annual Young Professionals Conference at Club Samal Resort in Davao City. With the theme “Refined: Shaped with a Purpose,” the conference gathered 168 delegates from 41 churches across the Philippines for a powerful time of spiritual growth, fellowship, and renewal. The four-day gathering was anchored by the inspiring messages of Rev. Arnel Tan, who spoke about being refined through life’s challenges and being shaped by God for His greater purpose. Each session encouraged the delegates to embrace seasons of testing as opportunities for spiritual maturity and deeper surrender to the Lord.

Beyond the plenary sessions, the conference became a meaningful space for building connections and strengthening networks among different churches nationwide. Many participants testified to experiencing spiritual revival—renewed convictions, restored passion for ministry, and a deeper commitment to their calling. Those who came carrying burdens, brokenness, and ongoing trials found hope and reassurance in God’s faithfulness and sovereign plan.

The final day of the conference was meant to conclude with a celebratory closing program. However, an unexpected earthquake interrupted the last part of the event, requiring the program to be cut short. Despite the sudden disruption, it did not stop the delegates from worshipping God and trusting in His protection. By His grace, everyone remained safe and was able to return home without harm.Though the conference ended differently than planned, it was a powerful reminder that even in unforeseen circumstances, God remains in control. The Annual Young Professionals Conference 2025 was truly a refining experience—shaping hearts, strengthening faith, and uniting young professionals with renewed purpose in Christ.

NOVEMBER 27-28, 2025

CCOWEF Cares Outreach

BY: RENEE ROZEL CHAN

On the morning of November 28, 2026, CCOWEF Young Professionals Philippines conducted the CCOWEF CARES OUTREACH at the Philippine General Hospital, reaching out to pediatric cancer patients. This meaningful initiative was made possible through our partnership with New Millennium Evangelical Church, as well as the generous support of our donors and the dedication of our volunteers. Cancer care packages were thoughtfully prepared a day before the outreach. Each package contained hygiene kits, toys, snacks, and art materials to provide comfort and encouragement during the patient’s treatment journey.

The outreach program also included a time of worship, where our officers and volunteers led the children in a joyful song. The Gospel was shared through a short skit entitled “The Miracle of Hope.” Patients and families were also prayed for, offering spiritual support and inviting them to receive Christ. The outreach concluded with the distribution of care packages and meals. It was a humbling and heartwarming experience to witness how God moved throughout the program.

Annual Officers' Retreat

BY: JOSH JYREH GARAN

From January 23–25, 2026, CCOWEF Young Professionals Philippines held its Annual Officers’ Retreat at Casa Al Mare in Pansol, Calamba, Laguna. With 19 officers in attendance, the retreat served as both a welcoming gathering for six new officers and a heartfelt sending-off for the outgoing leaders. It also functioned as the organization’s annual planning meeting, where the events and direction for the year ahead were prayerfully discussed and laid out.The retreat was filled with meaningful dialogue, collaborative planning, and intentional moments of reflection. Officers reviewed previous milestones, evaluated areas for growth, and carefully mapped out the ministry calendar for the coming year, ensuring alignment in vision and purpose.A major highlight of the retreat was the completion of the organization’s by-laws, a milestone nearly four years in the making. The meaningful and constructive discussions surrounding it fostered camaraderie, strengthened unity, and solidified the organization’s foundation. The retreat also created space for fellowship and deeper connection among officers, while the heartfelt sending-off of the outgoing leaders honored their faithful service—further strengthening the CCOWEF community through this leadership transition.By the conclusion of the retreat, the events for the year had been finalized, supported by clear direction and renewed enthusiasm. With newly welcomed leaders stepping into their roles and a strengthened organizational foundation in place, CCOWEF Young Professionals Philippines moves forward with fresh vision, unity, and confidence in God’s leading for the year ahead.
